Lets see how long it takes before they let us all use it. I can't help wondering how long it will be before the vandals and other associated idiots make it un-useable.

Don't go putting ideas in peoples heads and think a bit more positive. Have you been to Liverpool of late? It is now a city to say you are proud of. There are a lot of people in the club that were born in Liverpool and the outskirts and i for one would like to say it has never looked better, people are proud of the city especially after last years 'Capital of Culture' Let's keep it that way shall we?

I was born in Liverpool too, but I still can't help thinking that the Pier Head could end up as a big trolley park.
I would love to be proved wrong, though ..... honest!! ;D

Before the Link was put in there was a big green space in front of the Three Graces which often was a venue for concerts in the day time, also the area was used for picnics when people visited the area in fact there was very often something going on and was a good place to be while waiting for family to arrive on the I.O.M boat or when i was going across. The area around the waterfront to my knowledge has not been trashed in any of this time, why would you think it is about to start now?

The latest news on the Liverpool canal link is ....Final testing is being carried out it is hoped that the link will be opened late April or early May, Finger pontoons with water and power have been fitted in Salthouse Dock and will accomodate 40 narrowboats and 4 widebeams, to book these you need to contact BW's Wigan Office, and I beleive there is allready a waiting list. You can see the latest photos at this link www.penninewaterways.co.uk/ll/liverpool-link25.htm
