The decision to "mutualise" the canal systems in England and Wales was announced at the budget yesterday. www.waterwaysworld.com/1893Exactly how this is going to work hasn't been decided yet, but I have a nasty feeling that we might start seeing rises in licensing fees shortly to cover the expenses.
